The Power of Membership

PCCE Areas of Focus in 2024-2025:

  • Student & Campus Voting Support & Advocacy

  • Supporting Members Campuses in the Carnegie Elective Classification Application Process

  • Connecting Community Engagement with Career & Skill Development

  • The Role of Members as Anchor Institutions - with a focus on regional hubs and
    breaking down silos

Partners for Campus-Community Engagement convenes, connects, cultivates, and empowers campuses and community partners to build equitable and just relationships with communities in order to advance a democratic society for the public good. With our support, we envision that every campus-community partnership embraces the values of collaboration, equity, leadership, service, and transformation.

What We Do

Partners for Campus-Community Engagement is working to change the unequal power dynamics often involved in campus-community engagement by including community partners as equal members with an equal voice at the table. We aim to be the only higher education organization in the region that serves all institution types: two year, four-year, public, and independent; and includes community partners in our membership and governance. We envision that every campus-community partnership builds authentic, equitable, and democratic collaborations for the benefit of all.

What Sets Us Apart

Fees are categorized by full-time enrollment (FTE) and dues, with ranges from less than 1,000 FTE to over 40,000, and corresponding dues amounts. Additional categories for community colleges include under 3,000 students, 3,001 to 10,000 students, and over 10,000 students.
